The Domaine Expérimental La Tapy is located in the Vaucluse administrative division, 20 kilometers north-east from Avignon, the leading French region in production of cherries and table grapes. This strategic location, in the heart of vineyards, benefits from an "appellation d'origine contrôlée" (AOC "Muscat du Ventoux"). Similarly, orchards here have obtained an "indication géographique protégée" (IGP Cerises des Coteaux du Ventoux). La Tapy is thus able to work on quality plots of land that offer a large pedological variety and a strong economic value, ideal for experimental tests and studies. |
